In the role of a thoughtful urban rebel named Trane, players tag their way to greatness in this graffiti culture action-adventure. Set in the fictional city of New Radius, the game pits Trane against an overbearing, repressive government, and the hero must use stealth, street fighting, and spraycan style to assert his idealistic presence. The characters and storyline of Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure are said to be the culmination of over seven years of planning by title project lead Marc Ecko, whose "Rhino" brand of urban attire helped propel him to the heights of the fashion world in the early '90s. Trane is portrayed by musician Talib Kweli; rap artists such as Sean "Diddy" Combs, Michael "MC Serch" Berrin, and The RZA, as well as veteran actors George Hamilton and Adam West (among others), also provide voice acting.

This seller was not at all polite. Your first two messages to me were "Are you going to ship this today or what?" and "Bad enough I had to pay $4.50 a gram. At least ship it the same day I purchased it." You knew the price when you ordered this from me, and I was not required to ship it until tomorrow, Tuesday, May 14th. I was helping a 74 year old woman move all weekend due to the recent passing of her husband. You were rude and disrespectful, and you are not welcome in my store. Good day sir.

Dope game! Needs a sequel
I bought this game to add to my collection of PS2 games. I was glad to get a hold of the limited edition version. The game itself is really cool and has actual graffiti legends in the game along with Hip-Hop legends Talib Kweli, RZA, MC Serch as well as actress Rosario Dawson, actor Charlie Murphy and other notable actors. The in game soundtrack is great and fits the situations in the game. The limited edition version also came with a dual disc cd case that contains the soundtrack along with the making of the game and a mini documentary on graffiti culture. The limited edition also came with a special sharpie marker and a black book that contains pictures from the game and real graffiti artists. I was pleased with the game and the story. The game itself makes you question society and how ... I bought this game to add to my collection of PS2 games. I was glad to get a hold of the limited edition version. Getting Up Review
If you are into graf this game is definitely for you. It's set in a future world reminiscing of 1984 where graffiti culture is looked upon as an act of not just vandalism but a sort of terrorism. By using ill combat tactics and a variety of graffiti styles you battle your way to the top to get your message heard. This is a definite cop, and I recommend getting the limited edition because of all the extras like a dvd going into the history of graf, as well as a bunch of dope sound tracks and a behind the scenes making of the game video. You also receive a free black book with a silver sharpie which can't hurt. Overall I was very pleased with the game inside and out.If you are into graf this game is definitely for you. Almost true to life graff experience.
One of the gretest games ever if you are into graff and the entire experience associated with it. Very easy to play and not complicated at all. Only thing missing is a customization aspect. If you could put down your own tags. I would like to see an updated version of this game on a ps3 or 360.
