    Transforming home Wi-Fi and ethernet access

    This product has transformed broadband access around our home with a good Wi-Fi signal in every room. Using the ethernet port on one unit provides good access for streaming TV too, and potentially for other devices. I have had good experience with TP-link Powerline previously and Wi-Fi / Powerline hybrids in relatives' homes, and expect this to be equally good and so reliable you can ignore it completely. The power leads appear to be a standard c7 connection, so I have bought replacement mains cables which are less conspicuous (white) and closer to the perfect length. I know from experience that extension cables limit Powerline performance (just as the instructions warn you), so a continuous cable from a wall socket to each unit helps.     Does the job I needed it for

    I have had this for 2 weeks now and has certainly made a difference. I now get good signal all around the house and I have no found any blind spots. I have not noticed any drop in speed, either. It was a bit of a struggle to set up when asked in the app about a couple of technical aspects of which I had no idea and could not get the info from my internet provider, but finally went for the default options and work perfectly. Passed that point the rest was easy to set up.

    Excellent product but careful installation & use required.

    The flagship of the TP-Link 'Mesh' series. Each unit free-standing; first connected to router; others mesh by wifi and 'backhaul' over mains with 2 ethernet take-offs. MUST be kept away from major electronic units (which can cause instability). Also NOT compatible with other powerline systems (despite web reports). Give a solid wi-fi signal seamlessly over a large property. Set-up via app quite easy/seamless. Latest firmaware crucial to get full features/app feedback. Rather obtrusive free-standing units (no hanging up). Beware, the mesh switches itself around for best signal (so IP addresses not always constant) but individuals clients/devices can be loccked to avoid this. For me, an excellent solution.

    We have lots of thick walls in our house and these have provided good WiFi coverage to the whole house. Don't need to plug in Ethernet cables anymore. Hardly losing any speed from the router now. Also does not cut out when moving to different parts of the house, like other extenders. Highly recommended.
