Despite my request at payment for a well-padded package, the hard drive came in a cardboard wrapper with 1 layer of used bubble-wrap. It dropped through my letterbox onto a hard floor. Unsurprisingly, after first install on my PC, the brand new HDD made excessive noise & failed to complete WD diagnostics with a major error before total read failure. Returned for refund which was prompt. I would have opted for replacement but did not trust the seller not to repeat the error.
