A Masterclass In Bad Film Making
Do not be confused by the misleading title, this is not related to Night Of The Living Dead or Dawn Of The Dead, the film was originally entitled Curse Of The Maya but was retitled for its UK DVD release. I can only imagine it was given the new name of Dawn Of The Living Dead as to appeal to the large number of fans of the two aformentioned movies. This film is about a couple who buy a secluded house and discover through flashbacks that the mayan family who had previously owned the house had been murdered. As these mayan's had not been buried in accordance with there traditions, they now walk the earth as zombies feeding off the living. I don't know where to start on saying how bad this film really is, the awful acting will have you laughing with disbelief. The story is badly told with ... Worst of all is much of it is just silly - a grown man being downed by a new born zombie baby, trust me, it's as hilariously unconvincing as it sounds. The only good thing to say of this film is that the zombie makeup is okay and the scenes of gore, although not believable, are quite bloody and gruesome. It's not a film worth buying, as unintentionally funny as it is in places most of Dawn Of The Living Dead is tedious and confusing. Avoid.

dawn of the living dull

a very low budget goore fest. bad story line and even worse acting a must for any B movie colection.
