I've purchased two of these so far - they are very good quality and make removing hot plates from the microwave easy and safe; however......as a cautionary note, do NOT put microwaveable popcorn bags on this plate. I did, and it burnt a hole straight through the tray and melted the popcorn bag onto the tray. Lesson learned.
