    Great value product that you can improve if you choose.

    I wanted a router that was able to support a VPN client Out of the box this router will, but I wanted to run an openvpn client for its encryption capabilities. I flashed the ASUS-wrt Merlin firmware that is based on ASUS own firmware but with an Open VPN client that I wanted. I was successful in setting up the router and it performs very well as I had hoped. All of my home network now runs transparently through the VPN. I would heartily recommend this router for speed (out of the box) and security after the firmware upgrade..
