Almost perfect
When it comes to the remote controlling the TV, it only has 6 codes for each brand. Unfortunately I cannot use the remote to control my JVC TV. However I did manage to connect it to the LG sound Bar. So I can control the volume. The user interface on the Chrome is easy to use. It is so nice to not need my phone to stream.

This device has turned my LG LCD into a smart TV. Its compact and well hidden behind my TV. The downside is the remote control, it would be nice if it had a lighting feature or glow, for ease of use in the dark.

Great experience, easy to use GUI and adds future proof smart TV connectivity to bog standard HDMI TVs.
The standard ChromeCast is great but it’s pretty naff as it’s just adds a kind of wireless connectivity to a device. I’m glad to say the ChromeCast with TV goes that one stage further and adds smart TV applications and a fun to use GUI (graphical user interface). After initial registration to the various services you’re free to roam BBC iPlayer to Netflix to VLC. Tech savvy people will have no problems streaming all their media via a Samba server in no time whatsoever. It’s really quite powerful and gives insight into streaming IPTV service too. The standard ChromeCast is great but it’s pretty naff as it’s just adds a kind of wireless connectivity to a device. I’m glad to say the ChromeCast with TV goes that one stage further and adds smart TV applications and a fun to use GUI (graphical user interface). Google TV is great.
Coming from a previous Chromecast, first generation, I was really looking forward for the latest iteration of this Google marvel. And it doesn't disappoint. It's quick, it's intelligent, it's a great addition to your TV. And my TV it's already "intelligent" but it gives me a few more options. One of them it's Plex. On my Samsung TV, the Plex app it's just buggy and unreliable, but if you use the Google TV one, it's just responsive and infallible, notable.
