    Lumograph Black Artists Pencils

    These pencils address the problem of shine on heavy worked dark graphite areas. Easy to use and produces nice dark tones. Slight issues wit erasing as there is no full removal, although very significant reduction is achieved. Will certainly continue use and happy to recommend. Also excellent price for a recently introduced product. Would also use supplier again.

    Carbon pencils

    Really like this set of carbon pencils which allow the use of creating dark blacks without having to endure the shine that using graphite produces when trying get a real dark values and without having to resort to charcoal. This set of carbon pencils also provides a selection of grades at a reasonable price.

    Staedtler Mars Lumograph Black pencils

    Very good pencils. The lead is bonded to the wood so doesn't break when sharpening. Very smooth to draw and write with. The harder B and 2B can get very dark when pressed hard. Excellent for shading and drawing. Easily among the worlds top artists pencils.

    Artistic perfection

    These pencils just gave me the quality I was looking for. They are black and they don't leave that shiny effect as much as I thought. They really made my all portrait drawing look more realistic. With the darkness of them. However I don't understand why they put 2=2B's and 2=4B's why not add a 3B and a 5B.
