About this product

Product Information

It began with rumours from China about another pandemic. Then the cases started to multiply and what had looked like the stirrings of a criminal underclass, even the beginnings of a revolution, soon revealed itself to be much, much worse. Faced with a future of mindless, man-eating horror, humanity was forced to accept the logic of world government and face events that tested our sanity and our sense of reality. Based on extensive interviews with survivors and key players in the 10-year fight-back against the horde, World War Z brings the very finest traditions of American journalism to bear on what is surely the most incredible story in the history of civilisation. AUTHOR: The bestselling author of The Zombie Survival Guide, World War Z and the graphic novel The Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks, Max Brooks has also written for Saturday Night Live, for which he won an Emmy. He lives in New York City.

    Second time i've bought this.

Brilliant brilliant book. Love it. I have not really read zombie books before. But this was great. I lent it to my wife, then my mum and dad. And all of them are not really into this genre & all still thought the book was great. The story nicely varies from different people's experiences during the story line. So this is a book that sucks one in & can easily be picked up & put down. I've read it again recently & it was just as good. This is the second copy of it I've got, as I need a copy for me and another to lend out to others.

  • Very interesting take on the zombie genre.

Loads of short stories detailing what certain individuals did when an unstoppable enemy makes humans their enemy. I can see why people hated the film, it would have been much better as a TV show.
