This lens was very inexpensive but takes quality photos. It's on the slower side but I just raise the iso to 400 when I use it and all is fine. Its not a sports lens but I'm sure you can use it for games of younger children who aren't nearly as fast as teens or adults. I'm glad I bought this because the price was great and I'm sure I'll get some good use from this lens. One more thing is that I got free shipping and it only took 2 days to arrive at my door. Amazing.

Basically, this is a kit lens. If you can get it with the X-T20 or X-T30(yet unannounced kit)... My dad got his with an X-T10 bundle (he upgraded to an X-T30 and kept this. Great lower end zoom, basically the only cheap option. Sharp enough. It is SLOW when zoomed way out or wider open, but that was to be expected when I purchased this... I was not going to do NASCAR or bird photography with this (and I tried bird photography and aquarium photography at the zoo and it was 50% successful; maybe I need to get better). Overall, good purchase for the price. It's the ONY lens in the price range I'd recommend if you don't wanna go adapters and full manual. 4 stars because I can't go 4.5.

The lens was brand new, in the compleat, original, Fuji packaging. The price was less than I could buy a used lens for in the states. While not the best lens in the Fuji lineup, I would still rate it as very good. The lens body is plastic, but that makes it the lightest telaphoto lens available from Fuji. I have little use for a telaphoto lens except while traveling, so it's light weigh was the critical factor in deciding on this purchase. I don't recomend this lens for anyone who is seriously interested in telaphoto photography, but for travel and casual photography it is highly recomended.

Not as well made as Fujis premium lenses...plastic, not metal. That said, it seems durable and well constructed. No f stop ring..must be adjusted in the camera but not an issue. Not great in low light because it is slow....but great in regular to bright light, especially good for spirts and nature shots. It is not tack sharp, but certainly acceptable. Fuji pro version is about 5 times the price so I can't complain. Its a great telephoto lens for every day use, lightweight and small. Ideal for traveling, not so much for professional use. But the pro version is twice the weight and larger...and much pricier. For $160 I think its the best deal out there. Don't hesitate to buy it if it fits your use.

This light lens is also very well made and produces excellent images. Wish it had more features, but at this low price it's a great bargain. Perfect for those who need a light lens for back packing or simply all day carry.

Fuji's latest zoom telephoto is a good investment if you can't afford the "real" thing, the optics are sharp, clear and it is light and easy to carry and handle. The lens (and the X-A1 camera it fits) have a "toy" feel, but the resulting images rival much more expensive counterparts. I carry mine as a casual ensemble but still rely on my Nikon DSLR for more "serious" work. My main issue with this lens is the macro capabilities, or lack thereof, but like I said, I have other equipment for that. The other question mark at this point is the cheaper plastic construction, so durability could be an issue for those relying on this equipment for everyday work. Make sure you shop around, this lens can be found for much less than MSRP from reputable dealers.

This lens is great value for the money. It fills the bill for an occasional use telephoto lens. The optics are, as usual for Fuji, high quality. The only real issue is the plastic bayonet. It s a very snug fit on an XT-1 camera. I'm not sure how robust it will be.

It's a slow lens (f4.5-6.7), but it works well in sunny situations where I'm most likely to use it. I tend to use a lens like this at ~f8 where it is best anyway. It's lightweight, relatively small for its zoom, and image quality matches the high quality of the Fuji X system.

A good tele lens doing exactly what it's supposed to do. Its only inherent disadvantage is smaller aperture compared to XF 55-200 which makes it slower and gives less pronounced bokeh, but that lens costs very different money :-) This one is *perfect* for the price.

For the price, this lens is sharp and a good value. The telephoto range is very useful and the lens is quite light for lugging around. It comes with a lens hood, which is a plus. Aperture has to be controlled from the camera, which is fine - just assign it to the rear wheel. The lens mount is plastic but seems durable and should be no problem with careful use.
