I have won framed painting on paper on auction with 2 other bidders for £4.20 + £4.06 postage.
The transaction was cancelled within 10 seconds (out of stock or damage). I have contact the seller to purchase damaged painting. I was told “It has water ingress, in storage” and that it is “unsaleable”. I insisted to buy it just because of the frame. “We can't do that, As we try to keep our standards high”. They offered me an unspecified discount on my next purchase which I politely declined.
