This was just what I needed for my new TV with only 1 component input. This got my DVD player, Wii, PS2, and Xbox all onto my TV through the 1 input. It automatically changes the input if set for it on the switch on the rear, or changes manually with the press of a button (on top -- which helps the box not slide). Mostly plastic construction (what isn't), but the cables fit nice and snug onto the inputs and outputs. It's a 5 in, 2 out box, so I guess if you needed to record something from one of the inputs, you could do so through the 2nd out. Buttons need little pressure to push and work well. Very light-weight. Dimensions are roughly 9.5" long x 4" wide (at least 8.5" with cables attached) x 2.5" high. Fits under my new TV just fine, but would not fit under my old one. It is a ... The only bad I can give on this (and it's not really bad) is that a cable is not included to connect it to the TV, so if you have all of your components hooked to a current TV, you need 1 more cable for this. I guess with everything going High Def, HDMI is priority, but if you have older stuff, you need one of these with a new TV. It's excellent and I would highly recommend it. It's too bad Radio Shack went out of business here. I was always in the store for components.
