Not perfect. But a big improvement.
A center armrest is very sorely needed in every car. The additional storage in the armrest is also welcome. I gave this 5 stars because I'm so glad I was able to get this at a reasonable cost and put it in myself. Disclaimer, I'm a DIY guy. and I still had to make a trip to the hardware store to pickup some drill bits and metric sockets. I had 3 SAE socket sets and no metric. arrgh! The instructions are 3 pages and you should follow them carefully. I also ended up losing one of the metric bolts that hold the center console on. because I stopped mid installation to vacuum and clean the whole interior of the car once I pulled the center console out and had my face in the floorboards to see how dirty the carpet and such had become. Once Installed, the armrest is a tiny bit flimsy feeling and for some reason it doesn't extend forward over the e-brake as much as I would like. It's more like an elbow rest. those are my gripes. But still very happy to have something. The last long drive I took, I propped a pillow between the seats. hopefully now I won't have to do that.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Extra storage space for the little stuff
Got this for my wife's 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage. After she got her car, about several months in she made a comment saying she wished there was extra storage space and a armrest like my Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. So when she went on a overseas trip, I got this and installed it in her car. And she was really happy to find it when she got in her car again. Assembly required and you will need to drill 3 holes in the pre-existing cup holder. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the hardest installation. I would give this item a 6. Its very durable and well constructed.
