    great for domestic 12v and car/van batts as well as 6 v batts and it seems robustly built..i just got fed up with cheaper versions that didnt last. Comes with voltmeter and LED lights display

    Not as advertised. 8 amp charger, not the 12 amps advertised.

    The unit amp rating, as indicated on the label, is 8 amps. The label also says 12 amps RMS. RMS is root mean square and is not the power output to the battery being charged. RMS is a misleading mathematical calculation that really should not be used in connection with battery chargers. Note that the amperage meter on the unit only goes to 8 amps. The listing description of this unit is just plain wrong and misleading. If you are happy with an 8 amp charger (enough to charge most automotive batteries to about 85% in about 24 hours), then this unit should be sufficient -- but it is not a 12 amp battery charger. The listing needs to be changed to either 8 amps or 12amps RMS.

    Brilliant

    I have a sit on mower which I use only three times a year as I have a gardener come in to do the lawn now I'm getting older . It charged the battery in15 mins so I could get on a lot quicker and won't have to worry in future if I want to use the mower and the flat battery

    Recieved quickly and well packed. The item itself is a very good quality charger. It is well made and robust and very straight forward to operate and it tells you what state your battery is in. I brought it to replace the exact same model l had had for a long time which l inadvertantly wrecked by trying to fast charge a totally flat battery which you are not supposed to do (my blonde moment not the fault of the charger)!
