We chose not to use it's heating function so much, as we had double-sided through-hole PCBs with heavy copper and lots of ground plane. So we used an additional iron at one side and sucked out the solder, just using the vacuum, at the other side. It's now done 200 PCBs reliably. Like any solder sucker, it often needs unblocking, but tools are supplied for this. Recommended!
