    Very entertaining.

    I have never been interested in any of the regular versions of the NutCracker, but Disney's Nutcracker did it for me and, also, my granddaughter. We both love it. In this version you get a bit of Harry Potter, (Johnny Depp's) Alice in Wonderland, Chronicles of Narnia and The 10th Kingdom all rolled up into one. Very entertaining.

    Classic Christmas Movie - Not Really For Small Kids With A Short Attention Span

    This is a beautiful looking, classic film. Nothing modern or Eurotrash about this period piece. The sets, costumes and photography are all first rate. The story is interesting and it is well cast. A refreshing holiday alternative to the new (and not improved) Grinch movie. This is not a kiddie movie and I recommend it for adults and teens with a serious, artistic inclination.
