    Only one flaw

    I purchased this set of 6 cake pan strips. The set is designed so that you can combine various strips in order to achieve enough length to cover 3 nine inch cake pans. This was important because I needed the combined length in order to bake a 3 layer cake. My only complaint is the fact that the fabric "tabs" that are designed to control any extra length when encircling the cake pans are EXTREMELY tight and require a struggle to pass the strips through the loops. I would suggest a design change that would entail the use of hook and loop fabric to secure the strips tightly around the pans while controlling any extra strip length.

    Not real easy to use

    I like what these do for a cake but I’m having a hard time getting them to stay on my pans. I made homemade ones with safety pins and they were very easy. I’ll keep practicing. I like the way they keep sides of cake lightly browned and not much of a dome.

    The Perfect Cake

    This my second set of Wilson cake strips. My cakes are extra heavy because I add extra egg and pudding to the mix. These strips keep the edges of the cake from getting over cooked while waiting for the center to finish baking. Also the top of the cake is level, giving a professional appearance. Would not bake a cake without them.
