      Worked great on my $300 dark brown Chippewas !

      I read all the reviews and the only negative reviews I saw said that it darkened the leather. I just bought a bran new $300 pair of Chippewa steel toe work boots. I wore them for 2 days and started to get soars so I bought some of this Red Wing Mink oil. My boos are dark brown so I did not mind them getting any darker. I added a generous amount on my boots and let it soak in over 24 hours. Then I wiped off the boots with a dry rag. The mink oil worked perfect, softened up nicely, no more soar spots! My new favorite product for my boots.
