    Its great for the price to use as a backup drive.

    It makes a clicking-thumping every 5 to 6 seconds, but I look it up and it supposed to be some king of feature to make the drive last longer. It’s not too loud, it’s bearable, but it’s fast. I put internally on my pc, and with some files I got 200+ MBs write speeds, when transferring a full external 5tb hdd connected to a 3.0 usb port, it average around 100 MBs write speeds. I am really happy with the performance.

    Great for my backup solution and on par $/TB vs 8TB drives.

    Just as I had hoped for and described. Drives arrived on time and well packaged against damage during shipping. They are no louder than the 3TB drives they replaced. Due to the external housing they are installed in, write performance is between 90MB/min to 178MB/min depending on file size. Good enough for my backup needs. No issues or errors found during installation and RAID configuration.

    Unexpectedly Quiet - No bad sectors

    The metadata was wiped from the HDD so there's no way to know how much use it has. But I did thorough SMART scans and used HDD Regenerator to scan each drive sector by sector. There wasn't a single bad one in all 5 disks. The most surprising thing about them was how quiet they are for Enterprise drives, even under heavy load.

    Good product but needs improvement

    Unlike most drives on market which have three screw holes on each side, this particular drive only two screw holes on each side making it difficult for mounting in my pc. Hope the additional hole in the middle on each side is provided in the future.
