    Classic movie!

    This movie was quite long (about 2.5 hours) but the story moved along at a good pace and the characters were great. I especially enjoyed seeing a very young William Shatner as Alexei Karamazov, the youngest brother who lives as a monk and tries to be a good example to the rest of the family. This movie is still relevant today since it explores conflicts within a family and learning right from wrong. I highly recommend this movie!

    Another well done classic from Warner Brothers

    This is an excellent film but this copy is not complete. The scenes between Richard Basehart and Clare Bloom that establish his character's growing love and her indifference, and the scene between Maria Schell and Clare Bloom (which was in the preview) that shows the fantasy relationship Bloom's character has confected with Yul Brenner's character are missing. This wonderful film has been beautifully remastered (restored?) but needlessly cut. What is going on?

    Old fashioned style great movie.

    Great story, told simply. Like great movies of my childhood. Oh, I miss the old Hollywood. Should really read Dostoyevsky though. The video was new and worked as expected. Delivery time was good.
