    Older Midsomer Murder Mysteries"

    this was a great TV series that I only discovered much later on PBS during (perhaps ) their 2nd or 3rd rebroadcasting. Dry humor and wit in each episode, especially between the seasoned unflappable Chief Inspector Barnaby and his hapless sidekick detective. Great British countryside settings and a never ending supply of remarkable characters, often in guest roles from other branches of BBS television and British theatre.
