    The Peaky Blinders are coming to get you!

    An absolutely brilliant series. Missed it all the first time round on BBC2 so had to catch up. I got completely immersed in the characters. Warning........there is a great deal of violence here, so not for the feint hearted. Magnificent acting by all the actors, but that Cillian Murphy has something about him.....Reminded me a bit of the Godfather in that family and wealth is all consuming.

    Disappointing.

    I found several parts of this incomprehensible and background not sufficiently explained. Only one minor actor had a Birmingham accent so it was hard to believe that many of the events took place there. And too much porn, boriing in fact. The acting was jolly good but often, while I was still trying to work out which character was who, I'd lost the plot.

    Excellent Entertainment

    This box set has all 3 episodes. Each episode has two discs in them, 6 discs in all, each disc has 3 hours of viewing 18 hours in all. Peaky Blinders is set in the early 1900's just after the 1st World War, it is very action packed with twists and turns and a lot of being top dog, like the saying goes its not the dog in the fight but the fight in the dog, Peaky Blinders gypsies, Arthur and Tommy are excellent at showing all who try to stand in their way just how much fight is in them, BUT watch out for Polly she is just as bad, and she keeps the boys in check. Then there is the Irish copper given the task to destroy the Peaky's he is just evil and hates the Peaky's which leads to a lot of bad blood, infiltration, betrayal and revenge. Loads of gangland style violence, explicit raunchy ...

    "Blinder" of a series.....

    I had never watched this series while it was on the TV, but had heard that it was very good. Well, it isn't very good.....It is excellent !!! The three series are gripping from beginning to end and now i am just hoping the BBC decides to spend out on making a fourth season. All in all fantastic and highly recommended. Cheers.

    violence and swearing

    We had already watched series 1 and 2 so knew to expect. a lot of violence. This series is set This series starts a couple of years after the last series ended and involves Tom Shelby and the Peaky Blinders again but now they have come up in the world and are very rich. Tom is having to do undercover work for the government.. 'White Russians' are involved and the feud with the Italian gangsters start up again. Tragedy strikes in episode 2.
