Good camera for reviewing tapes, but battery (pack) not so good. Charge wears down
Camera seems to work fine -- at least to review tapes. I have not yet used it to record, though that was not my original intention anyway. I have several old tapes that I want to review before I have them converted to dvds and put on flash drives. Unfortunately the battery is not so good Contrary to the original statement, it does not hold a charge -- even after fully charged. In fact, it wears down much too quickly. So I am forced to buy a charger and two new batteries. I am guessing that the battery included with this ZR950 is old. By the way, I have two other ZR950s and both had mechanical issues. That is why I bought this one. So... it has been somewhat disappointing in terms of the battery pack. No charger was included in the purchase, and therefore I have an ongoing problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
