    Installation is very easy

    The product works fine with my toilet. My wife inserts iron remover tablets that interferes and brakes down the flapper body after about 3 years. The perforMax is the only product that we have used with our toilets that works.

    Efficient for only a few years

    Easy for anyone to fit but...Anytime between 2 and 4 years these items need to be renewed because of cold water shrinkage and that's what causes leaks into toilet bowl. As yet I have never had one that's lasted for the 5 year warranty that's quoted on the packaging. If I had known this before switching my toilet cistern to this assembly I would never have bothered, I'll never do it again especially when standard flush systems don't need this regular maintenance. And these flapper prices vary wildly anything from £6 to over £12 and crazily a lot more. I you don't switch back or keep your old style flush your signed up to constantly buying these and I'll bet it'll be in the winter when your supply water is at its coldest that you'll notice the cistern water dribbling into the toilet bowl.

    Works better with tape

    Great flapper. I had to stuff it with painter's tape to get it to stay up during a flush but now I don't have to hold the handle down for a flush so it's worth it :)
