    Bit too smooth on wood, but still better... If they last 👀

    They are as easy as it seems to install, a good replacement for an inch or so height increase and much smoother rolling experience. Just mind your toes around them a bit, and remember they might be a tad TOO sleek on some floors (but I bet will get stiff with time). They seems fine, pretty sturdy for what they are just make sure you don't get the wheel stuck sideways and lean on it... Might not withstand that.

    Not suitable without a mat on carpet

    The wheels have a very small surface area where it contacts the floor. This makes the wheels unsuitable for use without a mat. The wheels create a crater in short pile carpet. The area where these wheels were tried had previously endured standard wheels for 15 years without this issue. Needless to say, the original wheels have been reinstalled.

    Best purchase ever

    I use my office chair in a sewing shop. Standard wheels fill up with thread and lint andar difficult to clean out. They are also hard on the floor. These wheels do not damage the floor, are more open and therefore easier to clean, and roll smoothly. It was quite easy for me to change the wheels myself.

    It's like floating on air

    These are even better than expected. They are like floating on air, and completely silent. It no longer sounds like you you're moving furniture when moving around on your chair. I can work late into the night without worry of disturbing my family. The only negative is that you have to get used to having your feet on the floor if your floors are not completely level. Otherwise, you may drift to lower spot in your floor. There is so little rolling resistance that you may roll away from your desk if you have smooth floors. We have completely smooth Pergo flooring so that has been the only issue. Otherwise, these are fantastic. We installed them on a high-end brand office chair and an IKEA office chair. The IKEA chair required an enlargement of its non-standard sockets that the posts fit into. ...

    And the winner is…

    I needed 3 inch wheels to boost the height of the chair, but these wheels have impressed me and some people in my house who aren’t impressed with anything. (That would be my family) They are pretty sure if there was an office chair race, I would win! I love how fast these wheels get around.
