    Sony mini disk player lightweight with great features

    Very pleased hubby using now, son fixed his old one which I'm using. Considering they are old players they are working fine.. Very pleased with the one my husband bought here, it's working fine. He has a lot of mini music disks which he is going through. Really good sound. Hubby plays through his PC.

    Sony made to many models that's why they really never took off

    Great bit of kit! I did have the je475 which has got the edge on the sound didn't think it would make much difference. I am running it through a Yamaha MG124cx with active speakers XLR cables and pro phono cable. But it does! I am very happy with the je330. But I'm on my the hunt for a je475 or higher for the right price only.

    Very neat!

    As I say this unit is very neat, so if you want a smaller size item, then this is for you, but you still get the same Sony quality as you would expect. The unit plays & records very well, sounding really good & you have the very useful feature of LP, which means you can get up to 4 hours recording from a normal disc. It's shame in a way that minidiscs didn't carry on, however like cassettes they are making a comeback, so if you're like me & get tired tired of modern technology, then as with cassettes, minidiscs will be a refreshing change! Many thanks!

    Good value, budget Minidisc recorder

    The unit and remote control are both of reasonable build quality. Minidiscs can be played and recorded to, without too much complication. Unit starts up from power-on quickly and 'does everything it says on the tin'. Nice feel to the remote control buttons but the buttons on the unit feel a little cheap; can't complain though as this is an entry level item.

    Outstanding machine, not always available but I can see why you would hold onto this beauty!

    Beautiful machine. I also own the Sony 330 but this is another level altogether. Studio quality with amazing features including a keyboard which makes naming discs and tracks a pleasure (done in seconds). The auto track gap recognition works great, no more pausing in between tracks, just put the album source on and it records each one separately. Also, the Fluro display is super bright and clear which is fantastic.

    Minidisc users

    Probably the best Minidisc unit I've had so far from an electrical engineers point of view, the loading bay is much more reliable than the older metal ones as this is all plastic and not prone to rust or noisy. Not much to them inside so I can't understand why they are such a wide unit. Should last a lot more years the JE330.
