    Nikon AF 180mm f2.8 - it a bokeh beast

    Beautiful sharp stunning lens producing creamy images Auto focus not the fastest but more than adequate for most applications I have no complaints fast becoming one of my favourites if your thinking about getting one do it you won’t be disappointed

    Wow this lens is sharp.

    This is one of Nikons best lenses imho, a real gem of a lens. This is still a current production lens and can be bought new for good reason. Not too heavy to carry around and quite compact with the hood down. I have trouble hand holding but I am old and really need VR help. But if you can keep it still you will be rewarded with those unique 3D like pictures which have amazing depth, contrast, colour saturation, and sharpness. Get one you won't regret it.

    Sharp as a tack

    Its a Nikon prime lens, ok, it was made in about 1993 but that's when this glass was manufactured in japan, not China as it is today. The barrel is metal, the hood is metal, its rock solid and sharp as a tack wide open at f/2.8
