    The Thorn Birds

    It is a very beautiful, yet unattainable love story between a Catholic priest and an immigrant girl ( now woman) in Australia in 1920-40 period. I saw this DVD three times and purchased eight items for my siblings and friends.

    Missing Scenes--Not The Complete Series

    Loved this mini series when it was on TV many years ago, however, this disc set does NOT include the WHOLE series--only bits and pieces of it. So if you've never seen the original FULL version this might satisfy you. I enjoyed what is on the discs but I was VERY DISSAPOINTED because many of the original important scenes are missing. I will not be keeping it--probably donate it.

    Best Miniseries Story Ever

    When I opened the DVD pack to multiple discs one of the inside plastic slots to hold the discs was cracked off. Could of happened during Shipping process. DVD otherwise is in good condition but I'm a little disappointed because now the discs won't stay in place in the case with the top slot broken off. Jean Mooney
