The action finds Link stuck in a parallel universe in the land of Termina, transformed into a Deku Scrub, and given only 72 hours to find the mischievous Skull Kid, collect the all-powerful Majora's Mask, and save the world. The three-day cycle gives players roughly one hour of real time to accomplish their goals, but a Groundhog Day-like mechanic lets them witness those three days over and over by playing the fabled "Song of Time."<br><br>Aside from the time-traveling mechanic, the action in Majora's Mask 3D should be familiar to Zelda fans, with Link aiding villagers, exploring dungeons, battling boss characters, and acquiring powerful items to help him reach new areas. The game does place a greater emphasis on masks than ever before, with more than 20 to collect, and three that allow Link to transform into different creatures, each with special abilities. Traveling back in time results in the loss of keys and minor items, but game progress and major items are retained, and any accumulated money can be saved in the bank. However, if gamers fail to return to the first day in time, the world will end, and they will lose everything.<br><br>Majora's Mask 3D offers greater visual fidelity than the 2000 original, and the game takes advantage of the new 3DS to offer a variety of new features. A face-tracking feature adjusts images based on the user's viewing angle, and gyro controls let players move their system to look around and aim more quickly. The new C-stick also lets gamers look around Termina while they play, and touch-screen controls give easier access to items and inventory.

    Own 1000+ games on steam, this is still my #1 game of all time

    I could go on for days about this game but I'll keep my points concise: *A strong story about loss, grief and acceptance, literally all 5 stages in the game represent the 5 stages of grief. Easily the best LoZ story so far. *Tight gameplay that expands from Ocarina of Time by allowing you to play as the 3 other races in the Zelda world. *The bombers notebook *Collecting the masks takes clever thinking, but can be done without a guide. Fun to collect them all. *Endlessly replayable. *Fun bosses that use the races well. On top of all this the upgrade to the 3ds gives it a much more polished look while tightening the controls.

    Majora's Mask Epicness

    Majora's Mask is one of my most favorite Zelda games. This remake has amazing graphics and is improved over its predecessor. It is one of the most difficult Zelda games, save for Skyward Sword and the first Zelda. It has a deep underlying story too and adds a lot to Zelda mythology. I give this game a 9.5 out of 10 in comparison to Ocarina's of Time 10 out of 10. This is a must buy game for anyone with nostalgia or anyone getting a 3ds. Also, for first time players: you may want to buy a guide, because it is a difficult game to navigate.

    Wonderful remake of an N64 classic

    This is a wonderful remake of a N64 classic. I never played the original back when it came out and I'm really sorry. Majora's mask's story is a surprisingly deep and thoughtful one. After getting to know the townspeople, I felt very motivated to help everyone. The gameplay is great. Each of Link's forms control fluidly. Goron rolling is so much fun! I recommend this game to anyone who's looking for a good time.

    Great Game

    Amazing remake - making some minor tweaks to make gameplay much more enjoyable and less frustrating from n64 original. You will spend countless hours combing through Termina, and there are an immense amount of side quests that add great depth to each character. To those new to this game, song of double time and reverse song of time will be your best friend. Great remake, great gameplay, and graphics are just as stunning if not better than ocarina of time 3ds remake.
