He contacted Volvo to enquire on availability and message me back, he also sent a link to another seller who was selling a similar product (latest black version not the aluminium finish) . I decided to opt for this product. This service was far beyond anything I had experienced before. Thank you.

Although my Volvo C70 2001 2l turbo petrol was not listed my Volvo S70 1998 2.5l turbo was and I know they share many suspension and wheel items. Checking the part number 9492980 against the VIN numbers of both cars at Skandix (German Volvo parts supplier) confirmed that this item was used on both cars. Got them much cheaper here as postage from German is just short of €40 (£35). :-)
