    The "Item Specifics" stated brand new. I received a used item. (see photos) The seller was terribly uncooperative, difficult to deal with and refused the return/refund claiming the item was brand new even though the photos clearly show a used item. It took many days of messaging and eventually explaining to the seller that either he could accept the return or allow eBay to handle it. I hate to leave negative feedback but this was much more than a simple misunderstanding, it was deceit.

    Microsoft Surface Pen Model 1776#EYV-00009 review

    The pen works very well. But Microsoft designed this pen to be easily dropped, and weighted so that it falls on its tip, which is extremely friable and easy to break. It does this frequently, requiring a moderate expense to replace the very inexpensive plastic tip IF it can be removed, and 4 times I and my colleague have dropped it in such a manner that the tip broke off, and there was no way to extract it. A new pen had to be purchased to continue use of the computer with a pen. The older surface pens unscrewed at the tip to allow easy removal of a broken tip, that "luxury" has been removed, so if it drops and breaks, you have to buy a new pen. Also, they designed the pen purposely to not allow any tethering device attachments, so there is no way to tether it to the computer for when ...
