    Brings back memories and the family together for fun

    Son loves the color of the console. PlayStation 2 was the main gaming console my son grew up with and still loves to this day. Great times and memories as the family plays PS2 games on this great console!

    The system underwent too many modifications...

    This console is nice to look at in person. It works exceptionally well with no defects. It is easy to care for as long as owners use it lying flat over vertical. I’m slightly disappointed in the system because I’m an avid game shark user. It did not include a specific video game a family member and myself commonly play. The original fat black console had all the games we needed to complete them successfully. Those who take delight in game sharks and classic PlayStation 2 games take notice before purchasing.

    Vast library of excellent games that hold up to scrutiny 20 years later. Best selling console of all time for a reason.

    Retro consoles and games are getting more expensive now, but a PS2 remains a solid value. It has one of the largest, if not the largest, game libraries available, and because it's backwards compatible, you also have the entire PS1 library to draw from. PS1 and PS2 games remain relatively inexpensive for now. Notoriously PS2s have lasers that wear out, but replacement lasers are cheap. The system is also easy to softmod, allowing you to play your games from USB or over your network, saving wear and tear on your laser. Of all my retro consoles, I play my PS2 the most.

    It was fun while i had it

    was very happy when I received the product. And the plus was that it came with games I haven't played in years. The bad was I tried to play them later that day and it kept shutting off. The good news is it will be replaced. That's why I only gave three stars. But when I receive the other one, it will go up to 5 stars.
