    There's nothing predictable about this sitcom.

    I watched more than a few episodes of this Series years ago on Maryland Public Television. Unlike large national networks which routinely rerun older programs and often in multiple time slots, with PBS there's no certainty a show will be screened ever again. While a Series would most likely go out in its entirety on PBS, if you weren't watching on the day and time of broadcast you might well entirely miss a quality program like One Foot In The Grave. That's the magic of DVDs, being able to watch any episode in your own time or to fill gaps between episodes you might have missed. And this is one you don't want to miss.     A wife dealing with a newly retired husband who has a lot of misadventures.

    It’s a well written, British comedy. The characters are perfectly cast. We had seen some of the episodes on pbs, many years ago. I was really happy to find the entire collection and we are really enjoying it.
