The original story and the scale of the sinnoh region's towns and routes have been faithfully reproduced. This remake has also been revitalized with some of the player-friendly features of modern Pokemon games and up-close-and-personal Pokemon battle scenes.     Nostalgic with some tweaks

    Overall a good, faithful remake of the original Diamond/Pearl DS games. I heard from someone that they didn’t like it because it’s barely any different from the original. Well, they’re right. It’s not. I knew and wanted that going into it, but if you’re looking for something original, this ain’t it. Try the new Legends Arceus game for a fresh open world take on Pokémon. But for those of us looking to relive those hours spent chugging away at the game with the little 8-bit style graphics on DS for Dialga and the Pokémon league, this is for you. The graphics got a nice upgrade and so did the Grand Underground. There’s a bit more to do down there and it’s useful for catching unique Pokémon and leveling up.
