    Very good read, Dr. Gundry is a genius

    I am learning a great deal that I've never known, Dr. Gundry makes it fairly easy to understand his concept on how our cells work and communicate. Always interested in improving my health and lessening the chances of getting every ailment out there.

    Works for Hubby not so much for me

    My husband has lost 10 pounds in two weeks. I have only lost three. I hope it continues to work for him. I may have to cut out night shades as recommended in his follow on book. I haven’t read the next one, so not sure exactly what to do. I gave three stars because I hoped to see the first two weeks work a little faster for me, but I only need to lose 20 whereas Hubby needs to lose 50. I may need to just take it one pound at a time.

    Cause and effect; the answers to good health.

    This is a short read book that explains the causes of poor health and obesity in our country. Following his suggestions I have lost 7 lbs. in 10 days, and I started out with normal weight and BMI. I do not consider this a diet book because it is based on science and explains how evolution has changed our diets therefore our bodies over thousands of years. It is well worth the read if you want to remain healthy through your entire life.

    My doctor recommended this book to me to help me lose weight and reduce medicines I'm taking.     Surprizing Dissappointing recipes

    I was really looking forward to reading this book and following the diet especially after I saw many of Dr. Gundry's videos. In his videos he recommends not eating soy products, raw tomatoes because of the high lectin content in them, dairy, peanuts, red meat, bacon and other foods, however, in his book a lot of these foods are include his recipes. The book otherwise is very informative and a very good read.
