These bells have certainly helped cut down on the amount of mice my cats bring into the house. It hasn't stopped completely but to put it into perspective. I was having on average 5 mice a day. It was driving me crazy running around the house trying to save them every day. I'm now getting probably two a week. My big cat has still managed to get a bunny and a bat! 😳 but they were both alive so manage to save them. I have doubled up on their bells and have 1 normal and this one. It is loud so takes a while to get used to but it's certainly better than having the stress of having to save the poor wildlife. Sleighbells all year round!
These bells really are large, big, loud & noisy. I have 3 cats & it sounds like Christmas Eve every day. One of the 3 is a killer, which is why I bought them, & unfortunately he's managed to lose his entire collar & promptly brought in a fledgeling :-( I am buying more of these bells now, will put 2 on a tighter collar this time, & hope local wildlife will be spared.

I bought these for my Staffy, who likes to run the woods like a free spirit, the bells are loud enough that I'm able to know her location when out of sight, they also alert any wildlife of her approach... highly recommended

The bells are lightweight and ring well, but they could do with being a lot louder. Me and my husband can only just hear them, and our hearing is perfect. Trying to think of a way to enhance the sound.

Not loud enough.
My cat lay in wait for birds with infinite patience, unfortunately I cannot find a bell that rings to alarm the bird, he now has four bells on his collar but catches birds, ah well nature is cruel. He is not hungry just enjoys hunting.
