Better than I thought it would be
There's been a lot of negative reviews of the Dead Or Alive movie which is why I never purchased one as soon as it came out. I've been a big fan of the video games and I didn't want to spoil it by watching a bad movie based on it. I remember seeing the DVDs on display at the supermarket and the tacky packaging mentioning the hot half-naked babes put me right off. When I saw it on sale on ebay at an extremely cheap price I'd thought I'd buy it just out of curiosity to see what it was like. To be honest I actually thought it was good, it wasn't anywhere near as bad as a lot of reviews say it is and I did actually enjoy it and will watch it again. The exagerated over the top fighting sequences are fun and exciting. The story isn't bad either, it's not brilliant but not bad. The extras on the ... more than the advanced clips show. a film of the game done well. yes there are bikini clad kung fu fighting girls, and thats great but theres also a story that I wont ruin for you. its not just mindless bikini clad girls kung fu fighting, not thats theres anything wrong with that.

DOA - Dead or Alive
When I first started watching this film I thought it would be terrible as it is essentially a take off of the video game. However, it turned out to be a good film. The graphics are okay the moves are not completely unrealistic and, being a female, I liked the fact that most of the heroes were heroines. Also, the storyline is not off the wall and believable. It's a good adaptation of a game which is basically only fighting. reasonable action film, if you like scantily clad ladies fighting.Enjoyable but strictly a no-brainer with an implausible story, but entertaining none the less.
