Freemasons - Unmixed (CD 2007)
'Unmixed' is the second release from the Freemasons, following on from their superb 'Shakedown' mix CD. All the Freemasons' tracks from 'Shakedown' are here, plus their latest smash, the simply wonderful 'Uninvited'. What sets 'Unmixed' apart from other dance albums are two things... Firstly, every track on this album has potential for a single release (no fillers here), and secondly the sheer quality of the album as a whole - the Freemasons don't just make music, they live, breathe and sleep it. You'll be hard pressed to find better production elsewhere. Combine thumping basslines, haunting vocals and a true euphoric feel and you'll have some idea what to expect... Lots of 80's club classic nostalgia (especially on the amazing 'Nothing But A Heartache') makes this a truly unique ... You experience true euphoria, that's what!), the simply stunning 'Rain Down Love' and 'Watchin''. I'm hoping there will be at least one more single released from 'Unmixed', both 'If' or 'You're Not Alone Now' both strong contenders. Buy this album and you won't be disappointed - just don't expect to take this out of your CD player for months to come!

Best house music CD from a group i have bought in a longtime. Every track is very catchy single, atleast 4/5 of the tracks have already been played on the radio. The combination of upbeat sounds and lyrics covered by a lady is very moving and can be relaxing. Ideal Friday night musing before you go clubbing.. Enjoy...
