For thirty dollars, these are some pretty great headphones. Compared to my last pair (cheapies from target), the sound quality is through the roof. But they aren't quite as good as I had thought they'd be. Not bad, but not 10/10 spectacular either. I don't know if it's because they're refurbished or if I just had a very high expectation for beats headphones. One thing that I am annoyed about is how gigantic the single pair of earbud tips it comes with is. My ears aren't tiny by any means, but these tips are very large and make for a very uncomfortable fit. Not only that, but with even a slightest move of my head they slip out. I understand that I bought these knowing it only came with one size, but it'd be nice for that size to actually fit in an average person's ear. That's all. You get what you pay for, basically. Not bad, pretty good, not outstanding.Read full review

These Power Beats were described as not working. Power Beats sound great, don't fall off during hard activity (thanks to their ear loops) and I had some spare parts so I gave them a try. 1 pair had a bad plug- a common problem and relatively easy to fix by replacing the plug. The other pair was a learning experience! It was labeled as a bad speaker. The speaker was actually tested good but the wires had been pulled back and off the speaker. It was a problem to disassemble the speaker holder (I wouldn't bother to do it again). I have no idea how the damage happened but after a while I was able to open the housing enough to get the wires threaded back into place and resolder them back on the speaker (after checking continuity). They sound great but too much of a hassle to do again. AS-IS is always a gamble and I got both working well again but except for a bad jack, Power Beats are just barely worth the effort to repair (unlike other Beats models).Read full review

They are good for the gym or watching a movie on a laptop, but very "bassy" as in too deep sound, I tried adjusting my sound options in my phone, helped a bit.. As for Itunes, I compared them to my Skullcandy Titans, The titans had a more crisp sound and 50/50 on the bass, It was just the right amount for the 35.00, the Beats have a strong bass and I can tell they are put together decent, but not Ideal for Itunes, the bass overpowers the song. Its like 65% bass /35% actual music.

I'm totally in love with the sound quality of these earbuds. It's very difficult to find earbuds that produce the 'phat beats', and still stay clean in the mids, and clear in the highs. The key to the right sound is choosing the right size replacement rubber tips that comes along in a pouch with them. The only bad thing is: the volume adjuster doesn't work with my iphone 6s plus. Everything else is 'Heaven'.
