Beautifully simple
Whether a lightweight camper, a hardy back-packer of the kitchen-sink type, this little stove ticks all of the boxes. Cheap, reliable, beautifully made and most importantly, not imported from China!! This kit will last for absolutely years. Better for the environment than single-use canisters and with nothing to go wrong, the meths is widely available and far more economical to use. If you can't stretch to a Trangia pan-set, just buy a two-piece stainless pot-stand and get yourself brewingWhether a lightweight camper, a hardy back-packer of the kitchen-sink type, this little stove ticks all of the boxes. Perfect new, boxed Trangia burner
Always shied away from these as I’m one of those odd ultralight campers and a burner and meths weighs too much but I like stoves and sometimes it’s nice to have something different even if it’s. It really that heavy but when you’re walking 50Km in the hills. Every gram counts. This Trangia burner arrived in perfect condition. Brand new in a box. Superb. Used it straight away in my Honey stove for a quick brew. Recommend. Super handy kit.
Very basic but does its job well. Boiled 3 cups in around 7 minutes and used its full fill of meths mixed with water at 10% water. Gets to temperature fairly quickly. This model does not fit the Swedish army trangia stove setup. The military issue burner is much wider. If your looking for a complete stove, get the trangia 25/2 setup. (that comes with the burner). I've been using mine with a solid fuel stove and it works well.Very basic but does its job well. Boiled 3 cups in around 7 minutes and used its full fill of meths mixed with water at 10% water. Neat, simple Trangia burner
Trangia's timeless spirit burner is an essential part of their cooking system. It is very easy to use and control and very lightweight. The one I bought replaced an existing one I had from 30 years ago (that I damaged) and it is exactly the same. I can now enjoy a cooked meal in the great outdoors again!

Trangia Stove lives on with a new burner
After lending my 30 year old Trangia stove set to my eldest for his Duke of Edinburgh, and receiving it back with a split lid and deformed regulator (lots of stamping to put our a meths spill fire), I thought it would be consigned to the bin. But with the purchase of this new burner, it will live to camp again! These things work and last if well treated!
