    Discovery 3 Bonnet Catch - Alarm Problems Solved

    I kept getting false triggering of my Discovery 3 Alarm. No amount of door slamming, different closure settings etc would solve it. Went off at random times data and night. Then I briefly got a 'Bonnet Open' warning on the dashboard whilst driving. Started a bit of digging and found that many people had experienced alarm problems related to the bonnet catch. When I replaced mine all alarm issues stopped :-) New part has a good metal spring which appears to be more robust than the original.

    Thank goodness thats over

    My 2007 Range Rover Sport was a nightmare with the alarm going off whenever it wanted to ..middle of the night ..at work .I trawled the internet for an answer and found this to be common but there were so many ideas and theories for fixing it .Thank goodness one idea was to buy this sensibly priced and simple to fit replacement part ..hooray problem solved ..many thanks ..Nick

    A great Alternative to Landrover Part

    I had an alarm problem for a couple of years and bought this. It was a lot cheaper than the Landrover alternative and since fitting it I have had NO alarm problems. Would recommend.
