Extremely fast, stable and will surprise you in playing 1080p video with a fast AGP card. This CPU can compete with modern systems as it can do youtube and multitask. Video games like Crysis and GTA 4 and 5 are no problem don't expect super high details in those games however. With a mere 133mhz front side bus, it can keep up with the multi core systems of today's world. Also, if your motherboard supports it (it should if it supports this CPU) you can also get HSRAM, or high speed ram. It's seek time is much faster than standard SDRAM but is still bottlenecked at PC133 speeds. No big deal. Install 1.5gigs of ram and you have a very respectable and quick server or even modern gaming machine.

After weeks of research and benchmarking, I finally determined that the PIII with 512k Cache FSB 133MHz is the best possible processor for a socket 370 board or PowerLeap iP3/T slot 1 to socket 370 adapter as long as the board supports FSB 133. I bought this and unfortunately my board doesnt support fsb 133. My PC boots, but the CPU runs under-clocked at 1.05GHz instead of 1.4GHz I then purchased a Celeron Tualatin 1.4GHz with half he Cache and 100MHz FSB, and benchmarks proved that I had better performance with the Celeron. Only because my stupid board is too lazy and wont run at 133MHz fsb. I believe the CPU spec code SL6BY is the best, because that was the last stepping Intel made. So, in summary, if you want the best CPU for your socket 370 and your mobo can take 133MHz, then this is the best option. Otherwise get the Celeron for your 100 fsb board. Trust me, the extra 350 MHz speed is better than the extra 256 MB Cache memory. Good luck and happy bidding!Read full review
