I purchased a pair of these binoculars already having a much larger pair that I use for motor racing but are a bit big when walking. These fold up really small as both tubes are hinged and this means they fit in to a jacket pocket with ease. The quality of the optics is really very good on a sub £100 pair of bins. They are as bright as you could expect from the small 25mm lenses, they have a nice sharp bright image and the focus is both light, quick and fast to focus. I usually rate binoculars that dial in to the subject you want to see really fast and easily to be good and these don't fail. They have good eye relief, no black fringes and give a crisp, bright image and the focus wheel is easy to use. Drawbacks - none really, the only slight drawback is no objective lens covers but you can purchase some if necessary. So, in short, good quality lenses, thick rubber coating, light, small and very handy for those moments when out walking when you see a bird in the distance and wonder what it is!Read full review
