  • BATMAN FOREVER SPECIAL EDITION

THOUGH THIS IS NOT THE BEST OF THE BATMAN SERIES ( THAT FALLS TO BATMAN RETURNS IN MY EYES )BATMAN FOREVER IS PURE POPCORN ENTERTAINMENT AND INCLUDES TOP TURNS FROM JIM CAREY AND TOMMY LEE JONES , IT ALSO INTRODUCES ROBIN INTO THE MIX FOR THE FIRST TIME . THE 2 DISC SPECIAL EDITION FOLLOWS ON FROM THE BATMAN RETURNS SE AND HAS HOURS OF EXTRAS INCULDING THE WRITING PROCESS , CASTING , SPECIAL EFFECTS , AND MUCH MORE .

  • It's probably far better than you remember...

It's sad that this film is often lumped in with the travesty that was 'Batman and Robin', as this offering is actually a visually striking and valid interpretation of the Batman mythos. Certainly it doesn't aim for the same kind of authenticity found in Nolan's recent diegesis, however when viewed in it's context this movie has much to offer. The original offering is sadly lost to us, culled at the last minute at the wishes of nervous WB execs. However, in the deleted scenes we see a glimpse at was was once the core theme of the movie, that being the identity issues of Bruce Wayne/Batman. These additional scenes tease us with an early interpretation of Miller's mythic take on the bat emblem and Bruce's early experiences of the cave. The movie itself holds up well as a light-hearted take ...

  • batman forever

this is the third installment of the big screen blockbuster movies, this episode sees the deranged harvey dent aka twoface team up with scorned scientist edward nigma aka the riddler, who have one thing in common!!!to kill batman, batman this time round is played by the brilliant val kilmer who shines as the caped crusader aka bruce wayne, who is struggling with his inner demons, and still grieving the untimely death of his parents, who turns his generosity towards dick grayson who loses is his parents in a daredevil circus when trying to save an arena packed with gotham citizens, dick played by the very tallented chris o'donnell is the only survivor of his family and reluctantly accepts to live at wayne manor where he very quickly realises that ther is more to the mansion than fancy overpriced ...

  • Batman Is Forever!

Many people dismiss this Batman film or just simply overlook it. But for me it deserves respect for keeping true to the Batman story and ethos. The casting of this film is also very good with Val Kilmer shining in the role as the Dark Knight. Kilmer's performance is backed up very strongly from the likes of Jim Carrey as the Riddler and Tommy Lee Jones as Two Face. Obviously not in the same league as Nolan's Bat films but an enjoyable watch non-the less.
