Simple to understand and follow. Thousands learnt to play from Bert Weedon’s book, I’m sure many will learn from this. I wasted a fortune on lessons and learned almost nothing, started from scratch with this book and after 2 lessons have learned a massive amount, almost to point of playing a tune. If you have a child (or you want to) learn from scratch, start with this book and, if necessary, fine tune (pardon the pun) with expensive lessons after.
