Great presentation, easy to follow yoga DVD
I love Barbara Currie's yoga DVDS. I first discovered Barbara's videos over 15 years ago. I have 4 DVD's which I use in rotation by doing each one for a week and then moving onto the next - that way it never becomes boring. I have tried yoga classes & other yoga DVDS but nothing beats the presentation of Barbara's DVDs or the presentation of the postures & workouts included in the DVD. I particularly love the way that each of the DVDs are broken down into different segments so that if you don't have time to do the whole DVD (each one is about 75-80 minutes long) then you can just choose to do some of the segments at a time. This DVD I particularly love as each segment is 10 minutes long & the postures grouped together to target specific areas of the body (ie tums, legs & bum, arms & chest ... I love Barbara Currie's yoga DVDS. I first discovered Barbara's videos over 15 years ago. All of Barbara's DVDS have a section that is energising, a segment that incorporates balancing postures and a stretch & calm section which is excellent to do before going to bed. The setting is always great, the quality of the production is excellent and there are always two other ladies who accompany Barbara and who demonstrate the levels of difficulty from beginners posture to the more advanced. I cannot praise Barbara Currie enough, I adore her DVD's and I practice yoga 5-7 times a week using her DVDS and I have improved dramatically over the last 13 months since I have been practicing on such a regular basis. I have recommended her DVDs to friends and work colleagues alike and sing her praises whenever I can. If you have ever thought about taking up yoga but don't know which of the many DVD's that are on the market to purchase, then I would thoroughly recommend investing in Barbara's DVDs - you won't be disappointed and they represent excellent value for money. I personally recommend this one as well as the other 3 DVD titles: Total Body Plan, Power Packed Yoga & Power of Yoga. Although each of the DVDs do contain many of the same postures there are some postures in each DVD that are unique to that particular workout and more advanced variations on some classic poses and they are all presented in a slightly different way - I recommend all of them. I only wish there were more that I could buy but it seems that Barbara is no longer making anymore.

There are different routines for specific parts of the body, as well as more general stretches, etc. I highly recommend this dvd, for beginners and more experienced 'yogis' alike. I wanted to try yoga as I have arthritis in my back. The 10 minute segments are well explained and easy to follow. After doing 20 minutes every other day my spine is more flexible. This DVD is great for beginners
