The Hand that Rocks the Cradle
The DVD was in good condition and was a good price. The film is quite gripping and entertaining. The vengeful widower of the doctor is a good actress but the acting of the other characters is a bit cheesy or too cutesy at times. One thing that bothered me is that they didn’t maintain anonymity about the mother who was abused by her doctor when she was pregnant - in real life, the name and face wouldn’t be exposed on live t.v. Then again, if she was kept anonymous, the whole revenge plot probably wouldn’t have happened and there wouldn’t be a film! I suppose it’s fiction after all!
