Great suburban dark comedy
One of the best examples of the BBC single play’ from the days when TV aspired to be like theatre rather than film. Very much a precursor of cringe comedy, like The Office, full of awkward moments. Would be a great episode of Inside Number 9! Alison Steadman is a standout as Beverley, but all the cast are great

Some things should be held in the respect, and anyone attempting This play should be sent to moon and left there.
