Its not rock.
Having purchased this offering from Purple, I must say I was extremely disappointed. Having read how good a guitar player Steve Morse was supposed to be, I was expecting a lot more than what actually came forth from the speakers. This is more like Deep Purple play Genesis, wimpy songs and harmonies with a couple of more up beat numbers for good measure. As for Steve Morse, probably should have joined Genesis. If you’re a fan of Purple MK II and the In Rock album, you should give this a wide berth, if you love wimpy rock and harmonies, this will be your kind of music. Good Album !!!
This is a good rock album. With a new member on guitar. A lot of good rock music. Recommended. I think this is the best of the albums when they weren't a hit band anymore. Actually got this on cassette but just decided to upgrade to CD. Just the same tracks.
