Harold and Maude
A harder than hard film which I watched upon release and remembered with great fondness. The two main characters performances were outstanding and worthy of much praise. There was chemistry between them which was so convincing it seemed perfectly genuine and real. One great movie.

Useful for counselling
I bought this as it was a recommended book for counsellors who are undertaking 'inner child' work with clients. I found it very insightful with the older female character being able to help the younger male character 'find' his inner child. As a result he was able to find a new meaning to his previously bleak and seemingly worthless life. Lots of black humour, though which some might find a bit disturbing but I feel that this is an integral and necessary part of the message which the film is seeking to get across to its viewers.
